Nick: Day 11

Day 11: Cardio Recovery (5:15am)

Another well needed recovery day.  Not that this routine is easy in any form, but it's not constant 'hard hitting' exercise.  Being 11 days into this program, I already feel myself getting quite a bit more flexible from all of the stretching that we do.  It feels great.

The hardest part for me so far is watching what I'm eating.  I have done a fantastic job at completely dropping Pop, Beer, Coffee and any sugary drinks to having just water throughout the day (with the exception of 8 oz. of Orange Juice in the morning... post workout)  My craving for a Large Dunkin Donuts Coffee w/ lots of cream and lots of sugar is getting worse and worse by the day!  I could also go for a nice, tall, cold Pepsi with dinner.  The hardest part is going to be next month... When Great Lakes Christmas Ale hits the shelves.  (that stuff is liquid crack... DELICIOUS!!!)  I'm one day away from heading out on a weekend road trip to Florence, KY.  It's going to be a challenge, but I'm going to keep my self to the healthy drinking and eating habits I've forced upon my self in the past week and a half.  I'm feeling stronger and healthier by the day.  (which is a motivator for sure)

Tomorrow is another helping of Cardio Power & Resistance.  Bring it!

  1. Great job Nick! Add some vanilla whey to your orange juice and you will have a pretty good post recovery drink. Keep pushing Play!
